AppleInsider is reporting that Apple is denying vacation requests for the second week of October, with specific dates of October 9th- 12th, and October 14th and 15th. This of course, lines up very nicely with circulating rumors suggesting that Apple would introduce the new iPhone during the second week of October.
The report goes on to note that the dates of October 9-12 are for the iOS 5 launch, and Apple expecting an influx of support calls on the 10th. The 14th and 15th seem to be tied to a retail launch, very likely the next-generation iPhone.
Top all of this off, with the fact that Apple is expected to hold their annual media event on October 4th. Which is about a month later than it’s usually held. There it is expected that Apple will introduce the new iPhone along with iCloud, and iOS 5.
