Apple and Others to Introduce Devices Featuring Curved Glass Displays Early Next Year?

Where this begins to fall apart, is the fact that Digitimes claimed earlier this year that the next-generation iPhone will feature a curved-glass screen, but all the evidence we’ve seen up to this point, puts those claims in question. To put it bluntly, why should we believe them a second time?

The next big question this report invokes is exactly what product Apple would be updating in that timeframe. The next-generation iPad is the only thing that comes to mind. Previously, the iPhone would have fallen in that time period, but since it looks like Apple has move that refresh cycle for those devices to a fall timeframe, this seems unlikely.

In other words, there is no evidence of this, and it’s simply too far off to tell. We’ll keep an eye on this, but I can’t see it coming to fruition in the near term.
