Apple is now issuing invitations to the media for an iPhone event slated for October 4th, in Apple’s Town Hall auditorium at their headquarters in Cupertino, California. The event will kick off at 10AM Pacific Time.
The invitation itself shows four iPhone icons the Calendar (showing Tuesday, the 4th), the clock (showing 10AM), Maps (showing Apple’s HQ address), and the telephone icon with a one badge.
Of course, it is expected at this event Apple will introduce the next-generation iPhone. Whether that iPhone turns out to be a full-fledged redesign, or simply an updated “iPhone 4S”, or both, remains speculative. It’s also expected that the company will launch iCloud, and iOS 5 at the event.
