Revised iPhone 4 and White iPod Touch Now in Apple’s Inventory

image3_20110308.jpg9to5Mac is reporting that Apple has added a revised iPhone 4 and a new iPod touch in their internal inventory system. The report goes on to say that three new iPod touch models under the codename of N81A, which everyone is assuming is a white model, in three different storage capacities.

This of course is more of what we’ve heard before. The iPod touch will see a very minor update, mainly in the form of an introduction of a white model. Other minor updates are expected to be the inclusion of a better ambient light sensor, and the addition of an oleo phobic coating.

As for the iPhone 4 revisions, they are under the N90A codename (two models presumably GSM and CDMA). The report assumes that these are tweaked, low-end iPhone 4. Remember though, the iPhone “4S”, at least the parts we’ve seen of it, carries the N94 designation. This device has not yet shown up in Apple’s database.

Lastly, the report claims that Apple will be giving the iPod nano a minor update. The new nano will have carry a codename of N20A. Also worth remembering is the rumor that Apple will be discontinuing the iPod Classic and Shuffle. So there’s that.
