Physical Mockup of ‘iPhone 5’ Surfaces

As we get closer to the October 4th announcements, proof of a completely redesigned “iPhone 5” still remains to be seen. Instead, evidence is in favor of a minor update in the form of the “iPhone 4S”, wherein mostly the internals are being updated.

With all that said, a physical mockup from benm.at has surfaced based on the rumored tapered iPhone 5 design. Of course this is the closest we’ve been to actually seeing this mythical device.

Long story short this mockup looks, based on the little other evidence we’ve seen, what the device might look like. As previously stated however, it does not look like that will be the case. All the solid evidence we’ve seen in the past few weeks suggests that the “iPhone 4S” will be the only iPhone hardware update we see at the upcoming event.
