Waiting in Line for the Next iPhone Before It’s Even Announced

Keenen and Jessica – pictured above – are already forming their own line for the iPhone 5, or whatever new marvel Apple announce next week at their October 4 event. They’re camped out around the 5th Avenue Apple store in New York. Apple has told them they are not allowed to line up as the device does not yet have a launch date.

They’ve been doing this since this past Monday, September 26 – and as they admit “We don’t even know what we’re waiting in line for”. The pair have got a website covering their project, as well as a Facebook page:

There’s also a guy in the UK who has been camping out for the next iPhone for weeks already, but he strikes me as being in it for the freebies and the attention, whereas these two seem to have a bit more of a ‘just for the hell of it’ approach.

Here’s hoping Apple announce something that’s worth the camping out for these two.
