Thinking of moving to Sprint… I have been a long time customer of AT&T… Very dissatisfied with this… Before I heard of this, I was actually raving about ATT integrity to keeping customers satisfied.. Although their networks were not as advanced as the LTE of other carriers, I thought I had the best carrier simply because I thought they remained true and problem free.. This will be a problem for me… I am accustomed to my ways… I travel a lot and rely on netflix or slingbox or Pandora to pass the time on the road… I average about 5-7gb a month.. 2.5gb isn’t gonna cut it.. .I feel cheated it to choosing this provider when I could have gone elsewhere… I am taking my 5 phones to sprint.

Simply slow down customers isn’t a long term solution it’s just a way to keep from shelling out money and keeping it in the pockets of their execs and board members.

Good for AT&T. It’s time the data hogs are getting reined in. I don’t care if they are paying for unlimited data. They are hogging space belonging to the rest of us and driving up AT&T costs for acquiring more space. Go-go AT&T.

How about speeds like they have in Japan and Korea?! Instantaneous downloads! We pay so much for so little!

I pay for it, I should be able to use it as much as I want. My normal monthly usage is around 2gb+.

ATT is still playing around with HSPA+ and talk of hybrid systems coz they don’t want to spend a lot on upgrading age old telecom infrastructure and setup. Spending on a world class network and then talking of throttling and charging users makes sense as opposed to only making money,
