That alone would have got me to upgrade, also more memory would have been a plus as I only have 2gigs left on my 64gb iPhone 4. Looks like I’ll be skipping the 4S. Nothing to be excited about at all for iPhone 4 owners. Really really dissappointing. I hope the iPhone 5 becomes something to be excited about cause I think all this wait further on down the road for a new phone that’s better than an iPhone 4 will start to get me thinking of Android phones.

Yep. On the beta now and it can be good, but also quite awful. Same went for 4.x as well. Sometimes it can take 5-7 seconds to launch Settings, and other times it’ll miss half the things I type on my keyboard.

For someone that has a 3GS, I would imagine that the new hardware revealed today will be much more appealing, even if it is just a spec bumped 4S.

As far as your 3GS goes, I have been pretty impressed with how our has faired with the iOS 5 beta. I certainly can’t imagine it getting worse with the GM release version. Have you tried the beta on your 3GS at all?
