iPhone 4S to Have New GPS Features?

iPhone4Maps.jpgRumors are running rampant right up to the last minute prior to Apple’s media announcements today. TheNextWeb is reporting more of what we’ve heard: Apple will introduce the iPhone 4S equipped with an A5 Processor, 8Megapixel camera, and (new to the list of rumored features) “more definitive GPS features”.

The report does not go into details regarding the new GPS features, just the fact they are there. Furthermore, the report claims that that the “iPhone 5”, which is rumored to sport a tapered design, will not be introduced today.

In other words, this report really isn’t a stretch. It has backed up more of what we’ve heard- iPhone 4S, with new internal hardware features. The mythical iPhone 5 will be released some time in the future.
