For the company with more money in the bank than anybody else in the world to limit their new flagship device to the third place US carrier for a one-time payoff would be insane. It was one thing when the original iPhone was released. Apple was trying to do some things differently that didn’t sit well with all of the carriers worldwide, so they played ball with the ones who would meet their demands. However, to limit an iPhone release now, with multiple carriers worldwide and both AT&T and Verizon on board in the US, just doesn’t make sense. I just think Apple is way too consumer friendly and brand conscious to pull a stunt like this. If they do, I will be very angry, and I doubt I would be alone.
