The developers of Infinity Blade last week let it slip that the iPhone 4S still carries 512MB of RAM just like the iPhone 4 before it. The idea that Epic Games knew how much RAM the device had isn’t an unreasonable assumption considering they were developing for the device ahead of the crowd.
Also chiming in is AppVV who also claim 512MB of RAM, repeated in several forms on their site. That said, they do not go into detail on how they came across that figure.
512MB of RAM really doesn’t sound unreasonable considering that the iPad 2, and the iPhone 4 are both equipped with that amount. Plus, the iPhone 4S was a nice update, but not a total overhaul, further removing reasons for a bump in RAM.
