Wow. Apple has issued a press release revealing that pre-orders for the iPhone 4S were over one million in just 24 hours.
Apple® today announced pre-orders of its iPhone® 4S have topped one million in a single day, surpassing the previous single day pre-order record of 600,000 held by iPhone 4.
I’ve also seen reports that the iPhone 4S pre-order stock sold out at all three major US carriers offering the device (AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint) in just a day or so.
Not too shabby for a device that was apparently so disappointing to so many people when it was announced last week.
