If Samsung is so sure that it’s got a much better phone than the iPhone 4s, then why is it essentially giving away the Galaxy S II much like a creepy guy trying to give candy to a little kid?
It might have something to do with sales figures. The Galaxy S II took 3 weeks to reach one million unit sales in it’s home country of Korea, and 5 months to hit ten million worldwide. Putting this in perspective, 1.7 million iPhone 4s’ sold in 3 days of pre-order sales, (obviously) before it was even released; indeed before almost everyone in the world had even seen one in person.
So, a Galaxy S II for AU$2? Desperate times call for desperate measures, apparently.
