The line was really not huge when I left, but it was quite early in the day. Based on what I saw, I’d imagine them having a lot of stock this weekend.

I’m sticking with AT&T – I’ve had good results with data and voice with them.

I am a musician and I made a interesting song on my PC (not on MAC…ha, ha, ha…)and I want to set my song as a ringtone on my new iPhone…and…and..
…also I want to send that song to my girlfriend and my best friend phones via bluetooth…ha, ha, ha….
WHAT A STUPID THING!
iPhone…it’s just a stupid toy for a dick-brained Americans…

Did you get a sense of whether they’ll sell out today?

Also, did you go with at&t, Verizon or Sprint? I’ve been on at&t for a while, but consistently get very poor data speeds so I’m considering moving beck to Sprint.

The Sprint Reps there were working hard to troubleshoot and try work arounds, but in the end it was Apple’s easy pay system that was the problem. The phone would activate on the Sprint side, but the Apple Store’s system couldn’t link with Sprint to retrieve account info and complete the point of sale as an upgrade. 3.5hrs of my life has been wasted. Perhaps instead of trying to leave everything until the last minute in order to keep news of Sprint getting the phone under wraps, they should have had more testing on systems integration to make sure things would work.
