
Right after Steve Jobs’ passing, Apple posted a page, commemorating his life, in a simplistic fashion. They also set up a link to allow fans to share their comments, and wishes.
As of today, Apple has changed the page to now, additionally say this:
Over a million people from all over the world have shared their memories, thoughts, and feelings about Steve. One thing they all have in common — from personal friends to colleagues to owners of Apple products — is how they’ve been touched by his passion and creativity. You can view some of these messages below.
Along with the new language, Apple has added a stream which has user comments floating by. An elegant, fitting tribute to the man’s life. Needless to say, Jobs passed away on October 5th at the age of 56 due to complication with pancreatic cancer.
It’s amazing to see this kind of outpouring for a CEO. Then again, he was not a normal CEO. More like a visionary.
