Review: PhotoToaster 2 for iPhone and iPad

PhotoToaster is a great three-tiered photo editing application for the iPhone and iPad, and I think it’s awesome enough to warrant a video to demo some of the features and the UI:

For those who simply want Instagram-like effects, there are global presets that will play with every aspect of your image, adding frames, effects, and difference use to your image and just one tap.

However, if you would like to have a little more control over your pictures, you can tweak individual presets by using the tabs along the bottom of the screen. You’re also free to crop or rotate your picture using the toolbar along the top. If that isn’t quite enough for you, you can take a preset, tap on the slider icon inside of the pop-up, and fine-tuned every single effect on your photographs.

When you’re all done editing, you can export to camera roll, Facebook, Flickr, Tumblr, Instagram, or Twitter…or simply send your photo via SMS or Email.

PhotoToaster offers something for everybody, from the one-tappers to the tweakers, and I think it’s a steal at its current $0.99 price point (especially considering the universal status and iOS 5’s new PhotoStream feature).
