Day One, the excellent journaling app for iOS received an awesome update today that added calendar views, sound effects, and full screen mode to both the iPhone and iPad versions, making them feel nearly as robust as their Mac counterpart.
In a similar vein Elements, the universal Dropbox editor with Markdown previews built right in, was updated with the ability to copy the HTML straight to the clipboard during a Markdown preview. For those who want to blog on the iPad, this is a massive time saver, since it allows you to write all of your text in Markdown, preview it, and then copy the resulting valid HTML to your clipboard for pasting elsewhere (like WordPress or Blogsy)…all from one app. Notesy has had this feature for quite a number of months now, but I’m very glad to see Elements add it as well.
