Several reports and discussions on Apple’s support forums are highlighting a vast difference in the effect of iOS 5.01 on iPhone battery life amongst various users.
My highly unscientific observation seems to conclude that iPhone 4 users are mostly seeing worse battery life, while iPhone 4S users are all over the map – some are seeing much better battery life (as I am), some a little worse, and some quite worse.
I’m pretty happy. My phone was unplugged with 100% charge at 9am, and at 3:15pm with light usage is at 75%. I don’t think I can reasonably ask for more.
