Apple Releases Safari 5.1.2, Fixes PDF Viewing Issues

FAC-safari-icon.jpgJust a brief note; Apple has released Safari 5.1.2 to the general public this evening. This update fixes and issue wherein viewing PDFs from within Safari can cause the screen to flash white. The update also fixes memory leaks and allows PDFs to be viewed from within web content.

It seems that Apple is staying on top of Safari, even as competition is heating up from other big players such as Google Chrome. Apple has faith in the web, and is delivering on it. Good stuff.

The update can be downloaded from Apple’s download page, or from Software Update located in the Apple menu.
