[Update: the game is out! Download here]
Infinity Blade II, the sequel to the massively popular combat game made by Epic Games, will be hitting the App Store sometime today. The first we saw of this new title was at Apple’s October “Let’s Talk” media event.
Just like it’s predecessor the visuals are second to none thanks to the game being built on the Unreal Engine 3. Along with greater visuals, this installment also advances the story from the previous game.
At any rate, Infinity Blade II will make it’s way to the App Store at 11:00PM Eastern Time tonight. It will be priced at $6.99.
Games like Infinity Blade are just a testament to how advanced the technology in handheld devices are getting. Especially when you take into account that Apple is pushing the envelope with their A5 processor. In other words, I’m absolutely amazed that mobile graphics have come this far, and the fact that it’s in a mobile phone makes it even more amazing.
