Nearly two months after it’s introduction, Apple is still pushing hard to roll out the device in new markets. Apple has given little new information regarding the impending December 16th iPhone 4S launch, but Apple’s carrier partners are.
For instance Brazilian carrier Claro has posted a promotional page announcing the December 16th launch date. Russian retailers are also jumping in, and are currently offering pre-orders with the device becoming available the same day as Brazil.
Other countries receiving the iPhone 4S in this next wave include Taiwan, the Philippines, South Africa, and Malaysia.

After the launch, the demand was still so high that Apple is having trouble keeping up in the countries that they’ve already launched in. Plus Apple is still pushing into new markets. Expect supplies to be tight for some time. It’s a shame the iPhone 4S was such a dud.
