
After setting up a chart notifying customers of when they could receive their orders in time for christmas, Apple has now amended their chart informing customers in the U.S. are eligible for free next-day shipping on all of the company’s major, in-stock items.
The deadline for next-day shipping is tomorrow, December 21st. They only product that is not eligible for next-day shipping is the iPhone 4S, which is still facing supply constraints. Plus, based on the chart, engraved iPods won’t make it in time, nor will built-to-order Macs make it either.
I cannot remember Apple going to these lengths to capture business in years past. Perhaps this comes with the change in leadership, at the new CEO Tim Cook is a logistics man. Who knows, but this means you still have one more day to procrastinate.
