Apple has released a new version of their Airport Utility program which is used to set up and control Apple’s Airport Base Station, and Time Capsule products, as well as software updates for the hardware itself.
First up, Airport Utility 6.0 for OS X Lion has been redesigned to look more like the iOS Airport Utility that has been out for some time now. The update is 14.13MB in size and can be acquired here.
As for the Base Station and Time Capsule Firmware update, it can be installed on the appropriate hardware via the Mac or iOS Airport Utility. This update fixes an issues with wireless performance and provides access to a Time Capsule hard drive or AirPort disk with an iCloud account.
