Finally it’s here! For years I thought I was going crazy. My Late 2008 model MBP would occasionally flicker ever so slightly . It always bugged me, but apparently never enough to do anything about it.
Just this afternoon I was pleased to see that Apple released an EFI Firmware update for the MacBook Pro (15-inch, late 2008) models.
The update resolves a graphics issue that may cause the internal display to flicker.
If you are currently running Leopard, Snow Leopard or Lion you can download it now. Anyone besides me have this same flickering issue? If you download the update let me know in the comments section if it worked for you.
