We’ll never again be lured to compulsive upgrades. A new iPad for all times, and Apple can zenfully settle down to a less megalomaniacal size.

The endless upgrade, eexpansion, and greed culture is dystopic, and I commennd Apple for their prescient humility.

My bet is that the 2013 iPad will be called “The new iPad” – it’s not that complicated and I don’t know why the author of this post was “stunned”. I bet the 6th gen iPhone will, likewise, be called “The new iPhone”.

Patrick hits the nail on the head, as have every other blog on the internet. I honestly can’t believe this piece was published to iSource.

For instance, my iMac is a “mid 2010” model, and folks speak about the 4th or 5th gen iPod Nano.

In no time, this will become second nature for iPad discussions as well, IMO.
