Craig Mod wrote a brilliant essay on how he visualized the year he spent working as a product designer on Flipboard for iPhone. But this isn’t just a simple log or walkthrough: it’s a dive into how easily the process of development can become ethereal when the final product is completely digital. This isn’t so much a look at iOS app development as it is a peek into how even developers of popular apps have an urge to hold something physical at the end of a project. The essay isn’t breaking news, but it’s a great read I’ve been meaning to link to for a while now.
