Braven’s 855s wireless speaker offers 20W of unstoppable power


The Bluetooth wireless speaker market is getting quite crowded these days, but Braven is hoping to differentiate themselves from the pack with their latest offering. The Braven 855s boasts some serious sound power combined with a ruggedized design that looks to let you party wherever.

The 855s, which measures a portable 10 x 4 inches, IPX3 certified for water resistance and features a shock-absorbing housing featuring aircraft-grade aluminum. But the audio it delivers promises to be equally as strong as the body encasing a set of aluminum-coned drivers. You get 20W of output with DTS SRS Wow sound enhancement to give you some boom for your buck. As a bonus, you can daisy chain multiple 850 or 855s speakers to create a true stereo pair.

Braven is boasting 20 hours of music playback on a single charge, and the speaker can also charge devices connected via USB. All of this won’t come cheap, though. The Braven 855s retails for $299.99 and is available now.
