Square Enix has announced special pricing for several of their titles for iOS as part of a sale coinciding with world book day. While the timing of the sale being connected to a day that celebrates reading led to a rather odd press release stating “you can’t buy any decent book for under a fiver,” we aren’t going to scoff at what the game developer is offering.
Putting aside the references to book day, they indeed back up their claim with a total of four games on sale for only $0.99, including Deus Ex: The Fall, Tomb Raider, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (standard and HD versions). Sadly, no Final Fantasy titles makes the cut.
All four titles are on sale through next Monday, so if any pique your interest now is the time to download.
