So, you went ahead and purchased your new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus? Me, too! Who could resist a larger screen iPhone? When you set-up your new iPhone of the first things you are given the option of turning on iCloud back-ups. If you skipped this step at the beginning–no worries, we can walk you through setting it up right now.
iCloud back-ups are not located in the same spot they were in iOS 7. It actually took me a few minutes to find it myself. First go to Settings–>iCloud and then scroll down to Back-up. Here you can turn back-ups on and initiate a new back-up immediately. If this is your first iCloud back-up it might take a while to complete. Once the back-up is complete, though, your iPhone will automatically back-up when idle for an extended period of time and on an active wi-fi network. For me, this usually happens overnight.
