Earlier today Vietnamese blog Tinhte.vn posted pictures resembling the purported follow up to the iPad Air, which is rumored to be released next week along side updated iMacs and the public release of Mac OS X Yosemite. Although it is unclear how recent these pics are, or if they are of a “final” version, or simply clones/dummy versions, the final product will most likely closely resemble polished versions of these renditions.
Anticipated specs for the iPad Air 2 include
- Thinner, sleeker design measuring ~7 mm
- Recessed volume button design ported from the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus
- The introduction of Sapphire coated Touch ID
- Addition of Gold to color option, mirroring iPhone line-up
