Ever want to access your iTunes content on multiple devices so you can download and update your iOS device? Or perhaps you simply want to stream your iTunes content via AirPlay to your Apple TV? Before there was Family Sharing, our family would use this feature to share purchases from one iTunes account using different computers.
In case you weren’t aware of how to do this, her is s simple tutorial to get you set up in just a couple minutes.
Launch iTunes to authorize a new computer
Launch iTunes
Select Store–>authorize this computer from the drop-down menu
To authorize your computer, you will now have to enter your Apple ID and password.
At this point you will see a message letting you know if you were successful, and how many computers you now have authorized. Apple has set a limit of (5) different devices that can be authorized at a time. Computers can be added to and taken away from this list by selecting “de-authorize this computer” in the second step above.
